Green Infrastructure Forum Conference

Event date:
Tuesday, 6th October 2015 to Wednesday, 7th October 2015
Event venue:
Glasgow
Event description:

It is now widely recognised that green infrastructure provides many environmental benefits and is important for our physical and mental health and wellbeing.  In urban areas, and with our changing climate, there are many opportunities to make use of green infrastructure technologies such as swales, green roofs and rain-gardens to create multifunctional landscapes capable of delivering flood management, environmental protection, habitat, amenity and place-making.

This conference seeks to share a broad range of messages and case studies with the common goal of creating better places for us all to live and work in and you are invited to submit an abstract that will be of interest to the audience.  Conference themes include; Green roofs, walls & buildings; Health & well-being; Lessons from abroad & at home; Habitat & biodiversity in towns; and Water management.  Poster submissions will also be considered.
