In May 2015, Edinburgh will be the focus of the international water resource management effort as world-leading academics, researchers and policy-makers gather for the XVth World Water Congress.  At the forefront of academic development for over 40 years, this will be the Congress’ first visit to the UK when delegates from across the globe assemble to address the main conference theme of ‘Global Water – a resource for development: opportunities, challenges and constraints’.

Presented by the Scottish Government and supported by Scottish Water, over five days (25-29 May 2015) the XVth World Water Congress will promote in-depth discussion on the complexity of water policies, management, development and governance practices at local, regional, national and global levels.
